Casa Malaparte by Karl Lagerfeld Book Reissued

Casa Malaparte was designed by Italian poet Curzio Malaparte in 1937. Teetering on the edge of jagged cliff on the island of Capri, the iconic red home was made to reflect Curzio's personality and has since been featured in several films - including 'Contempt' with Brigitte Bardot - and many ad campaigns over the years. In 1997, fashion designer and photographer Karl Lagerfeld decided to visit the home, taking his own polaroid photographs of the architectural marvel and creating a photographic book with the resulting images. The book has just been reissued with Steidl.
