Valentino designers Maria Grazia Chiuri and Pierpaolo Piccioli have become known for their romantic, bohemian vision that they're brought to the fashion house, a look which has enchanted the fashion industry. For Autumn/Winter 2015, some of their pieces were noticeably inspired by an old fashion muse - Emilie Louise Flöge.
Viennese costume designer Emilie was a life-long companion to painter Gustav Klimt and was known for her unique fashion sense which included dramatic frills, striking black&white stripes and floral embroidery. A muse to Klimt, she appears in famous works such as 'The Kiss'. She spent her life creating clothing and was a couturière. Take a look back at her unique personal sense of style and see Valentino's modern take on her look below.
