Coco Sumner (real name Eliot Sumner) has confirmed her two year relationship with Austrian model Lucie Von Alten. Coco, who is the daughter of musician Sting, is both a model and musician, and has revealed that she also does not identify as one particular gender. She explains that she never felt the need to come out because everyone important to her already knew about her relationship and sexuality: “They knew already. So I didn’t need to. I’ve never come out to anyone. My friends always knew and I always knew.”
She added that she felt lost when trying to understand her gender and realised she didn't need to label herself: “I think forever I was trying to figure out maybe – what I am. But I don’t think anyone should feel pressured to have any kind of label or tag on them. We should treat everybody the same. Me, I don’t like to be put down to a specific thing. We’re all human beings.”
